Meet The TEAM

Kristin

I started my journey with Pups at Play as a customer back in 2023. My dog, Bruin, became obsessed with coming to daycare and we were so impressed with the quality of care provided by our founders, especially with our older pup, Jake.

Fast-forward to today, I find myself on the other side of a health scare, ready to return to my animal care roots. Matt and I grew up on our 4th-generation family farm in a small town in Western New York, working together to care for horses, cows, cats, dogs, and the occasional donkey.

I left the farm for New England and spent two decades in television engineering and operations before life had me pivot to other fulfilling endeavors. Now, living in Rindge, I’m excited to connect with my brother (and the rest of the Pups at Play team) over a shared passion that began in our childhood – a genuine love of caring for animals and connecting with our community.

Matt

Hi, I’m Matt—one of the owners here.

I grew up in a dog-loving family, so caring for pups has always been a part of my life. In my early twenties, I had the opportunity to work alongside a family friend who owned and operated a highly respected boarding, grooming, and daycare facility in my hometown. I spent several years there learning the ins and outs of exceptional dog care and what it takes to successfully run a top-quality facility.

After that, I went on to earn a degree in Agricultural Business, gained valuable real-world experience, and took on new challenges. Now at 31, living in New Hampshire and loving life, I’m thrilled to return to what I’m most passionate about—providing outstanding care for dogs and creating a place where pups feel safe, happy, and loved.

Casie

Hi, I’m Casie (KC) and these are my two very high energy dogs. The Australian shepherd is Jedidiah (Jed) and my German Shorthaired Pointer is Nehemiah (Neham). Here is a little more about me:

  • As a child I grew up around big dogs, having 4 different dogs from the time I was 5-18.
  • Now that I am in my 30s with a husband and 3 kiddos, we have 2 dogs of our own.
  • In my free time if you can’t find me outside playing ball with the pups, I am usually crafting. I enjoy crocheting stuffed animals for the Prayer Shawl Ministry at my church.
  • I have also begun classes to become a groomer. Soon I will be able to love and dote on your dogs in new and exciting ways!

Claudia

Hi! My name is Claudia and I am a senior at Franklin Pierce University. I am a Health Science major with a focus on physical therapy, which I will be studying at Tufts University this upcoming summer! My family has two Jack Russell Terriers; a 15 year old named Fenway and a 4 year old named Wrigley. I also have a furnephew, Dutton (pictured)!

I grew up playing soccer and recently wrapped up my college career. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, baking, and reading! I am super excited to work with the Pups at Play crew this spring and help care for your dogs!

Kat

Hello! I’m Katalyn! Or Kat for short.

I currently own two handsome pit mixes Elton John (pit, lab) and Diesel (pit, husky).

My entire life I have grown up with all different breeds of dogs and love every single kind! The boys, and my, favorite things to do in our spare time are taking boat rides, camping and sun bathing in the summer.

I’m very happy to be part of the team here and excited to start to get to know you and your furry best friends!

Lyla

Hi! My name is Lyla and I am a sophomore at Conant Middle High School. Growing up, I learned the value of perseverance and commitment by staying focused on finishing high school and building a strong foundation for my future. That season of life taught me responsibility, dedication, and the importance of showing up every single day — qualities I now carry with me into my work. My faith and my family are at the center of who I am. They may not physically come to work with me, but they are with me mentally in everything I do. They’ve shaped my heart for serving others with kindness, patience, and compassion.
I’m incredibly grateful to be part of the team at Pups at Play. It’s truly an amazing environment filled with people who care deeply about providing safe, effective, and loving care for every pup and every customer who walks through our doors. Being surrounded by a team that shares the same passion and standards means so much to me.
I also carry a personal connection to the work we do. I had a dog of my own who has since left us, and she will always hold a special place in my heart. Loving her taught me firsthand how important it is to trust the people caring for your pet. That experience fuels my dedication to treat every dog as if they were my own.
I’m so happy to be working alongside such an incredible crew at Pups at Play, and I look forward to continuing to provide the best care possible to the pups and families we serve.

Meghan

Having grown up around dogs my whole life, I instantly fell in love with the responsibility of taking care of others. I brought that love with me to my career in healthcare and found my way back to Rindge a couple years ago after a brief time living in Keene and working at the hospital. I am grateful to have found Pups At Play, because it provided me with the ability to put two of my favorite things together in a job. Additionally, I have earned my EMT license in my time working here, and also learned quite a bit from the dogs about how to better take care of both animals and people. Having worked with these amazing dogs in our community for over a year, I’ve been able to learn all of their unique personalities and fallen in love with each and every one. I am thrilled for the ability to continue taking care of your dogs!

Nakaya

Hi! I’m Nakaya, and these are my family’s pups—Cash and Halo. Cash is a mixed breed (we think Lab/Collie), and Halo is an Australian Shepherd. They keep life interesting and are a big reason why I love being around dogs so much!

I’m currently in high school, and when I’m not working, or doing schoolwork, I enjoy playing field hockey and piano.

I’ve always loved animals and my favorite part of working at daycare is getting to know each dog’s unique personality—whether they’re full of energy and ready to play or just looking for some extra cuddles.

Oliver

Hello, I am Oliver and my family has currently has 3 dogs. Left to right in the photo are Cooper (a pitbull sharpie), Tato (a pit mix), and Nana (a Great Pyrenees sharpie mix).

I’ve grown up caring for, and working with, dogs of all different personalities, which has taught me a lot about the how unique the dogs can act and the way they can take to training and learning opportunities.

I enjoy, being outdoors, snow shoeing, kayaking, hiking and biking on and off trails.
